"I attended a Jerry Rowe clinic in January 2010 and was amazed at how easy he made handling your dog and herding sound. As soon as he started talking a light bulb went on and I had a whole new feeling of confidence. ... no matter what level of learning ... I would recommend anyone interested in herding check out Jerry’s method." - W.M.  Georgia

"Jerry’s videos are high quality productions that combine background on the dog’s instinct with Jerry’s insights based on 40 years of experience to produce a presenta- tion that is enlightening and entertaining." - W.E.  Maine

"Jerry's approach to training a herding dog has clarified so much for me. Instead of being frustrated with what I now know are normal, logical behaviors for my dogs, I am now learning to understand and use those behaviors to help him understand what I want of him. Best of all, Jerry's methods avoid intimidation and harsh correction, rather helping the dog to figure out how to control the sheep in a very natural way, leaving his "sacred" instinct intact. The videos are invaluable because they help form, and constantly strengthen, a solid foundation which can be built upon while working on my own. They are beautifully done and include plenty of footage of real dogs and handlers similar to my dogs and me, illustrating the points Jerry is making and keeping things interesting and entertaining." - C.K.  Wyoming

"Jerry's videos are professional and full of wisdom about stock, dogs, and most importantly people. One can easily figure out that Jerry enjoys teaching with humor and for that reason and many more, I am anxious to train further with him. What I am most grateful for, was Jerry's ability to help me prioritize my goals and to appreciate my beautiful dogs, for the herding breed they are." - M.G. Florida

I learned long ago there are no such things as miracles but with Jerry's methods and your perseverance even the most impossible dog can benefit from Jerry's program. He offers a fresh realistic approach to herding that allows the dog to think while building a solid foundation for you and your dog."

These training films produced by Jerry Rowe are a must for all herding enthusiasts.  These theories and training methods are tremendously helpful in learning the theory and understanding in how to train any herding dog to use their basic instinct to control the stock.
Educating the handler on how to read their dog and the stock is no small task and these films bridge a huge gap in the training literature and training methods available to DYI owners of herding dogs.
Close attention and understanding of these method means the difference between total frustration and pure joy in training your herding dog.  Exposure to these methods and such a tremendous hospitable, patient and knowledgeable instructor has been one of the most enjoyable experiences of my life.  My sincere congratulations to the Twin Creek Ranch in producing a great series of instructional DVD's

As a herding newbie, 3 years with 3 different dogs, clinics have been my social network. At Jerry's clinic I recognized that the basics I knew were not all the basics that I needed to know. Jerry encouraged me to develop more stock knowledge. He taught me to encourage my dogs to work with me, not me keeping my dogs off the stock. What I found was that "we" were having more fun, and I was having less guilt.

I took my first Jerry Rowe clinic recently, and was very pleased with the results. The clinic was sponsored by an ASCA club, and I was the only participant who did not have an aussie; I have a pem corgi and a bc. Jerry could have cared less, and he showed me how to solve some of my problems; self created, I'm sure. I was impressed with watching Jerry help the other participants with some of their problems. I hope that Jerry and Sharon come back to the Atlanta area again, and I will certainly be signed up for the clinic.

I attended a Jerry Rowe clinic in January 2010 and was amazed at how easy he made handling your dog and herding sound. As soon as he started talking a light bulb went on and I had a whole new feeling of confidence. Jerry and Sharon were just like old friends and made all, no matter what level of learning you were, feel comfortable and capable. I would recommend anyone interested in herding check out Jerry's method.

Hi Sharon & Jerry,
Just wanted to touch base with you. I got the videos the end of last week & got to watch them over the weekend. I thought they were really nice. Well put together, good information, nice video clips, you guys did a great job with them. I am looking forward to the next ones.
Diane

Sharon and Jerry, Got our DVD's and they are terrific! No one can tell a story like the 'ole fat man' and it all hangs together so well. I especially love the titles....Theory of ...because they are not 'how to' tapes. Rather they explain the why of loose-eyed herding behavior, which gives point to all the different training methods!  Nels even watched, his first herding DVD ever, and watched to the end. He especially liked all the dogs named, and the old dog footage.

Hi!
Got the video yesterday so Robert and I watched it at lunch. It was great. A good refresher for what Jerry talked about at Camp. Cant wait to get there in June! Laura, TX

Hi Sharon and Jerry Just wanted to let you know that the DVDs arrived yesterday and I've watched them both. Nice job in producing them and their content. It is nice to get some reinforcement that I am on the "right track" with my own dogs as well as student's dogs. You make a lot of great points and illustrate them well on the videos, not an easy task to accomplish. I am hoping that I can get some more orders heading in your direction for these two DVDs from student's of mine. I am looking forward to seeing the next two as well when they are ready.

Have a great weekend and THANK YOU for producing these DVDs. There is definitely a lack of good, well organized information out there for working dogs.
Matt

Congratulations on completing a huge job!!! And - thank you so much for sending me the DVD's..... I watched them both the minute that I received them yesterday and they are marvelous!!!
I think that they are exactly what is needed in the world of herding with upright, loose-eyed dogs!! They explain so much, the way that only Jerry can explain things!!! I am so happy to have them!!!
You are just too wonderful, and I am so thankful to have you both in my life as friends!!! Thank you for sending me the DVDs. I have already told several people to order them asap from you!!!!  Cheers......

I received your videos and watched them the minute they came out of the box. Some of the information I have heard before but there was TONS of new information that I found fascinating about the how's and why's of the relationship between the dogs and the sheep and the dog and the handler My 15 year old son, who doesn't even herd watched them with me and was fascinated by the explanation about how the hunting instinct is what the herding instinct is derived from and about the dance that occurs between the dog and the sheep when the bubble collide. He knew nothing about herding when he watched it with me, but after he asked me all sorts of insightful questions and made some observations about my dog and her working style (he has seen her work but doesn't have a lot of understanding about what is going on and why). I was so excited when I got done watching them that I called my instructor and told her all about them and now she is going to order a copy! I can't wait for the next two videos. I was wondering if you have a tentative release date yet? In the meantime I am telling everyone I know about your videos--they are wonderful!!!!

I just wanted to let you know that I recently watched the Respect video and loved it! The photography was excellent, I loved the humor and all the information was very clear and easy to follow, I'll be trying some new things with my dogs based on the video!. I am also helping a few beginners to start their dogs and will be recommending it to all of them. Congratulations on putting out such a great video.
